WE-VERIFY

Updated: Apr 3, 2020

Immigration Services

“E-Verify is a web-based system that allows enrolled employers to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.”

Many states, including Michigan, require companies to verify that their employees and contractors are legally able to work in the United States. This system is called E-Verify. KCM wants to enable all individuals to have fulfilling careers. Our immigration services benefit both our clients and our candidates.

E-Verify widens candidate pools and ensures compliance for employers

Don’t let red tape stand in your way to hiring exemplary employees and contractors. We verify the work status of our candidates, then keep tabs on their status throughout their employment with you. When one of your workers needs a visa renewal, we work with them to meet their deadlines so you can rest assured that you’re always in compliance.

Opening opportunity for job seekers with E-Verify

Because KCM is involved in the E-Verify program, you have the freedom to work for any of our clients. We know that immigrants and foreign students face a headache of paperwork to find employment. KCM is here to help.

We serve four types of foreign job-seekers in alignment with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). For non-immigrant F1 Students, KCM offers Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) types of employment to help you gain experience and fund your education. The second type we serve is TN NAFTA Professionals, who are non-immigrant, non-student, temporary U.S. workers from Canada or Mexico. Third, we serve other non-immigrant visiting workers holding H-1B visas. Finally, we facilitate the employment of Permanent Resident Card, or Green Card, holding immigrants.

Once we have matched you with an employer, all you need to do is accurately fill out the I-9 form. Then, E-Verify instantly compares that information with the records of the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
